In the article, a parallel between the doctrine of Ancient Greek philosopher Plato of eidola and systemic cognitive analysis (SCA) with its toolkit Eidos system is drawn. It is shown that SCA supposes substantial interpretation in the light of Plato's doctrine of eidola. Eidos system implements the mathematical model of SCA restoring eidola on the basis of their concrete realizations in the objects, and allowing to estimate what precisely realization of eidola a given concrete object is, providing also systemic research into similar eidola (in clusters) and systems of various eidola clusters, i.e., constructs.
